Red Roof Inn Parsippany

We stayed in a bottom-level room and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. There was mold all around the base and ceiling of the shower, and the ceiling was leaking onto a table where we had our bags, soaking our belongings. ---------------------------------------------------- The room was filthy. The sheets had weird stains, the comforter had cigarette holes and yellow food stains, and the bed was shifted with more stains all behind it — clearly not cleaned. ---------------------------------------------------- The staff made it worse. The front desk attendant was unprofessional and invasive and made me feel very unsafe. Before checkout, a worker actually OPENED OUR DOOR while we were sleeping. Thank God we had the bolt locked, so he couldn't get fully in our room. When my bo

First negative: I arrived at 5:30 and the lobby was already locked. Had to try to talk and listen through heavy glass at a small window. Very uninviting and made me worry about the neighborhood. Second negative: the security lock on the room door was busted. Another reason to feel unsafe. I stacked room furniture against the door for security. Third negative: the light and outlets above the desk did not work. |On the positive side, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Positive: No much. It feel like we were in motel of $--- the night instead of s hotel of +$--- the night.The bed was comfy and the air conditioning was good. Negative: I have to clean the room, it was obviously dirty, bathroom, bed corners and underneath, fridge, table, sink... There were no cleaning staff at the moment so we cleaned it.

Rooms are absolutely disgusting. Changed rooms 3 times. First two times didn’t get what we paid for. The blankets, pillows, and sheets stained. Bathroom nasty. Didn’t clean the rooms. One of the rooms looks like it had sex fluids freshly on the sheets. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting black mold in the bathroom. Not updated. Old bubble walls. Inefficient heating. Got the room in advance and refused to give us the room we pains for twice. Refrigerator barely cools. I will never stay here ever again. What is wrong with people. Came out of town for this crap. Again don’t waste your money at all.

Avoid this place at all costs. Landed from a flight and got to the motel around 2am. Checked in and went to the first room and both of the 2 beds were covered in hair, and I’m not talking one piece I can deal with that, I mean covered. That bathroom was absolutely disgusting too. I went down and asked for another room. Bed still had hair in new room but not quite as much and I was tired so I just slept on a sweatshirt. The tub in the bathroom was nasty still. Phone doesn’t work in room. SMOKE DETECTOR IS A EMPTY HOLE ON THE WALL, later to find out there are 2 sitting in a draw with the battery’s pulled out.
