Snowy Peaks RV Park

The staff are helpful and friendly. We were going to be arriving late and someone stayed up to check us in. Very clean and level sites with all hookups. Our site had a pergola, gas grill and fire pit. Very nice with view of snowy mountains. I recommend Snowy Peaks for one night or longer stays.

There are several options for RV stays in the Buena Vista area, but most are somewhat limited in their accommodations. This is a large (<100 sites) RV park just off the main road. We were warmly greeted and escorted to our site. They have a variety of sites available from premium pull through spots, pull through “buddy sites”, and multiple options for back-in sites - they also have sites where folks live (more in the winter) full time. The mostly level crushed stone sites are off crushed stone access roads. The hookups are mostly modern and convenient - they functioned properly. They no longer offer cable tv, and many sites will be challenged to get a satellite view - there are no OTA stations. Their included WiFi was reliable almost always providing a signal that was useful - Veriz

This has been our 4th stay at Snowy Peaks. We have always enjoyed to RV park, but this year the camp host outdid themselves on the neatness of the park. The flowers were beautiful, and the sites were very well taken care of. My partner hunts so he is gone quite a bit and so staying at a safe park is a must. We also brought our 4-month-old puppy and the camp host we're so sweet with her. We had to cut our trip short for his KS hunt, but we will be back. Only negative thing would be to bring your own WiFi We couldn't get it to work.

We werent even in our spot more than 15 minutes and we were already going to the office to extend our stay another week! We LOVED this place! Spent 3 weeks here with our 2 dogs.The staff really cares about this place. They rake the rocks after you leave to keep the spots fresh. Always driving around picking up sticks and cutting the grass. We had a spot with beautiful grass that they do water overnight with sprinklers so we just moved our chairs every night which is not a big deal at all. The bathrooms were always clean. Laundry was credit card operated which was nice not to deal with coins. We loved sitting outside our camper watching the sunset over the mountains with our dogs. What can I say except WOW! Friendly people with unmatched hospitality skills made our entire stay exceptional. They have thought of everything to make the visit more enjoyable, including a delicious breakfast on Sundays and holidays, a hotdog roast, firetruck rides. The park is well laid out with wide roads, large spaces, and shade trees. We will be back!
