Sleep Inn & Suites Valdosta Mall Area

The facilities were clean and smelled good. It was not fancy, but the bed was comfortable and it had everything I needed. The breakfast was adequate and help me get going on my drive home. This was my first stay at a Sleep Inn and I will consider staying in one again in the future.

I had a very relaxing stay. The beds were comfortable and I slept like a baby. The hotel was very clean and the front staff was amazing. At checkout, I accidentally left my diamond earrings on the dresser. Once I realized it 1 hour later, I immediately called and headed back. Guess what, the housekeeper kindly had them at the front desk for me. So grateful!

When I first walked into the hotel, it smelled fresh and welcoming. At first glance, everything appeared tidy, but a closer look showed some areas that could use improvement. Overall, the hotel has potential. With a thorough cleaning and more attention to detail, the experience could be greatly enhanced.

[This is a family run place to sleep and to be comfortable. The rooms are large well kept, the staff is amazing and the owner and his sons are on site and there the entire time I was there. The general manager, I believe is her title, her name is Diane. I watched her help an elderly woman who was having some struggle and she stayed with her the entire time until she left. I have never had better experience and service!]

The moment we walked into the Sleep Inn in Valdosta, Georgia, the smell was so overwhelming that we literally could not breathe. It was foul, heavy, and unbearable. Instead of fixing the issue, they tried to mask it with air freshener, which only made it worse and completely unlivable. We immediately decided we could not stay and asked for a refund. That’s when the real nightmare started. We were given a hard time and then told everything was “fine” and that we would get our money back if we called a “third party” booking number. That was a lie. When we called the number they provided, it turned out to be Sleep Inn themselves. We never received our refund. We were forced to file a chargeback with our bank.
