Sleep Inn & Suites Smyrna - Nashville Area

We recently stayed at this hotel and discovered an additional $250 dollar charge to our account. I have called the hotel at least 4 times since we discovered the charge. Every time I give my name and number and I am told that a manager will call me back. I have yet to hear back from a manager 2 weeks post the numerous calls. At this point, I have given up, but I will continue to spread the word that I believe this hotel is scamming people. I was told on one of the calls that the charge was for a damaged TV. I asked for proof given the TV was not broken when I left at 6 am with my husband and kids (2 and 6 months, so not capable of reaching the TV). They were unable to provide proof and when I asked if they saw a broken TV, they said no. I will never stay there again as I believe this was a

The room was fairly clean. But the counter under the tv was filthy bad. Also it had a funky smell when I Opened the door. Not sure what the smell was and another thing that was awful was the beds. Both beds are hard as a rock. The granny I had with me didn’t sleep all night due to the bed. Now I don’t want this put out in the public at all. I just want y’all to know what needs to be done amd out of all honestly I should get a free night next time. Have a blessed night

Positive: The cleanliness Negative: I thought they ended breakfast too early. I went down at 9:00 am and most of the things had already been cleaned up. My fault for not paying attention to when breakfast ended.

We booked a stay for one night February 14 for my family of four. First thing we noticed was the smell of Marijuana throughout the building. We had a king suite with a pullout sofa sleeper. When we pulled out the sofa, there was a urine stain and food crumbs on the sofa bed. We went to the office to see if we could move rooms and she said there was nothing that she could do and the manager was not on shift. Her resolution to that was to just give us a change of sheets. My kids ended up sleeping on the floor because they did not want to sleep on a urine stain mattress. When we checked out the next day, we told the manager and she said all she was able to do was give us 15% off the room for my children sleeping on the floor due to there unsanitary room. I do not recommend Sleep Inn & Suites.

The room needs some major upgrades. The carpet looks disgusting and needs to be pulled up. On Thanksgiving I needed someone to clean my bathroom and I was told house keeping had left for the day. I asked for the toilet brush and cleaning supplies to clean it myself. The pool had an out of service sign on the door. When front desk was asked about it they said the pump was messed up. When people are staying some where for the Holiday of course they want to utilize the pool. The A/C unit has a musty smell coming out the vent and the room was very stuffy.
