Holiday Inn Express & Suites Smyrna-Nashville Area by IHG

Great Hotel, spotless and clearly the Staff doesn’t leave a spec of dust in my room every time I m in Town. The Breakfast is ample compliment to the nicest Breakfast Attendant I have seen in my travels for some time. I never see Ivan standing, always on the move and greets almost everybody with a warm smile. Special thanks to the young Lady Latanna ( excuse my misspelling) the Front Desk morning Lady, very friendly on my way out. My Hats off to the Manager for having a great Team that makes this Hotel my one and only choice out of all in the area.

Stayed at this hotel from 11/21 till 12/14 and stay was fair up until last few days when my card was being charged multiple times without authorization or a reservation. I called corporate to file a complaint on 12/15 and have yet to hear back from owners on incident. Fast forward till today I wake up to attempts of charging my card even after I have checked out. Foul play going on at this location and cannot find them on BBB because of how they are conducting business. I have to keep my card locked so I will not get charged for not staying there. Management is extremely rude and has no customer service at all! Stay away from staying at IHG hotels to avoid hassles and headache of feeling less of a human being when being talked to. The friendliness of the staff and front desk was amazing. Heather was a standout with her customer service. She knows how to make a person feel welcomed. Breakfast at this location was well maintained. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not usable during our stay due to it not being chemically maintained. If they advertise it, then they should keep it maintained. Otherwise, I would recommend this location to anyone.

Everything was great, except the pool, pool room and hot tub had no heat. I choose this place mostly for this amenity unfortunately. A lot of hotels only have outdoor pools. They did not try to fix the issue or even look at it. Just said, " sorry, the guy who deals with that left for the day". That was at 3:10pm on a Saturday night. We were only staying one night. Check in was at 3pm. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The room was spotless and large. Could have been a 5 star, but again we were expecting to use the pool.

If I can give this a -5 Stars I would, me and my family stayed here for a couple weeks and towards the end it went downhill. Most of the staff here is cool professional and just good people. However the manager not sure what her title is yet the lady with the red hair older black lady. Is very bitter rude and unprofessional. We got charged twice the same day for a room that was already paid for. And this was 3 weeks ago, and still to the day we have yet to get any resolution. Nor heard back from corporate or anyone regarding our money. And so have gotten nowhere. It's almost like they think we lying or something. If I was you I would not stay at this location at all...
