Sleep Inn & Suites Hagerstown

Hotel wasn’t bad. The elevator floor was very sticky needs mopped, please!! There was a hole in the wall where people I guess slam the door knob into the wall and a couple of miscellaneous items behind the TV stand, also one channel on tvs… But the biggest concern the elevator safety paper expired a year ago. Need to stay more on top of it huge safety concern.

The location is good right by stores and food but the manager is moody and they show up inspecting rooms like a warrant then don't want long term stays and want $100 deposit yet gave us a room with broken and stained everything and the breakfast is not what it used to be. They have one laundry room for four floors and it was always broken for a Month and half we were there... The staff it depends who you get bc even the manager/owner is moody and the hot tub and pool is always broken... Even when we were here years ago , same thing... They don't like people who stay long who use the super app and get good prices bc they want $100 a night... The walls are so thin and you can hear everyone's conversation and screaming about they baby daddy and whoevers kids all through the hallway and the ro

Positive: "" Negative: Bed bugs were found as we finally laid down for bed after a long day of driving. We had to pack and leave in the middle of the night, clean all of our belongings and then look for a new hotel to stay in. Very disgusted with our time here.

Several rooms are condemned. Mold on the walls in the hallway/stairwell. I’m assuming the condemned rooms are due to mold. Room smelled like smoke. Breakfast was inedible and low-effort. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. I wouldn’t stay for more than one night and if I’m in the area again I’ll probably look for a different hotel.

Hotel is pretty run down. Even at $85.00/night I felt as if I over paid. We we got to the hotel several guest were sitting out from smoking pot. That smell permeated through the hotel. There was no desk manager when we arrived…just a sign explaining that they were helping a guest….20 minutes later I got checked in!!!!! The reason…short of staff…only one person working. When we got to our room there were people sitting on the floor in the hallway. I didn’t know if they were guests or people who walked in off the street…not a very secure feeling. The only reason I rate this as highly as a 3 was because it was somewhat convenient to meet our travel needs and there were adequate restaurants and services near by
