Sleep Inn Rockville

Room 333: reasonably priced, room is small but adequate for one or two nights, room smelled good and clean, bed was clean and comfortable, flat pillows, could not get local channels on the TV, stingy on the towels/bath linens, low water pressure in the shower, water took several minutes to heat up, overhead light in the shower didn't work, showerhead needs replaced, neighboring guests loud banging noise and slamming doors off and on overnight, internet works well, front desk clerk and housekeepers are friendly, quick check in and out, breakfast was okay. Eggs were cold/not heated thoroughly. Other products okay. Hotel in an odd location but close to I-270. Would stay here again.

I want to begin by saying the staff is very friendly. My checking was a breeze so no issue is there. My room wasn't the cleanest but it was decent enough for two nights. It's just the fine tuning that doesn't get done. vacuuming the corners Dustin high places . bugs trapped in a light fixtures(especially the ones above your bed a little creepy) and never mind the obvious mouse traps everywhere. At first I took it as a precaution until a little fellow ran across my floor and right out my door. The air conditioners are all old the baseboard heat in the hallways are old. Exterior doors don't close properly so it could be a security concern. the building is outdated and could use upgrading in motif and fixtures. Definitely pest control. The complimentary breakfast was nice, price was unbeatable... but there were two mice in my room running around in the floor and both times I went to the front desk there was nobody there!

First, I made the reservations through a 3rd party company. We arrived and of course our reservations were no where to be found! I was not very happy, but it was totally my fault for booking through a 3rd party company. The gentleman at the front desk seemed to have felt bad for our troubles and was able to give us a room for 10% off thank goodness. That was very nice of him. We got our room and it was very nice and smelled good. It would have been great to have 2 sets of towels and washcloths instead of 1, but we made it work. Breakfast was decent. Overall not too bad of place.

The service, cleanliness and location are good. We felt the breakfast was subpar. Juices were very wattery, and not option for bagles or muffins, just plain bread. No microwave in the room, although there was dedicated room for one. Below my expectations for Choice Hotels.
