Sheraton Rockville Hotel

So at first look it appears to be a nice hotel. But the rooms are very dim. It seems like it's missing a lamp in the bedroom. In the bath there is no light over the toilet there's an electric line but no fixture like the electric bill was too much so they removed them. The coffee machine was not plugged in and the furniture too heavy to move, Im a handicapped older person. There is no free breakfast 😢 the room is old and needs better maintenance. On the positive side there were little touches like glasses instead of plastic. All in all it is not so bad and it's a decent place to sleep. I would stay here again even without breakfast. Its a bed in a safe place

Our stay was fine for the most part- the room was clean and had plenty of amenities, front desk staff were friendly and the location in the King Farm area was great to walk around and grab dinner in. However, the shower in our room did not get hot at all and ran out of (barely warm) water after about 10 minutes. Additionally, there was a $10/night parking fee that honestly seemed like nickel-and-diming guests, as there was a large parking lot. ||My main issue started after the first night. I woke up to an email from my bank stating that they had blocked a $1500 (!!!) charge on my card from Sheraton. I immediately called the front desk to investigate, and was told that this was the "smoking fee". Not only was there absolutely zero smoking or vaping during my stay, this $1500 charge was ab

Positive: The staff at this location, specifically the evening front desk clerk and the lead server at the King Farm Grill were FANTASTIC. That being said, the cleanliness of the hotel and the room left much to be desired. Negative: The rooms were filthy, the bed sheets and comforter had visible grime. I showed pictures to the morning front desk clerk on March 20th at 11:00AM, who appeared disinterested and advised he would notify housekeeping.

I was completely pleased. Check in and out were seamless. Room was comfortable, and well lit when we desired that and dark during daylight when we wanted that. Parking was convenient and plentiful. Hotel is in a built up area. We were on the third floor of the five story building. There was in room coffee and a mini-fridge, but no microwave. It was clean. Yes, you could tell that it might be due to be renovated by some wear and tear, but certainly not a deal buster.

Extremely disappointed in my experience and will not be returning!!! Very unprofessional and horrible customer service. I reserved a room with one king bed (for 2 adults) through a third-party booking platform. Upon check-in, the front desk associate, Mayah, asked only for the last name, processed the incidental fee, and provided our room keys. At no point was the room type confirmed, nor were we informed of any changes to our reservation. When we got to the room, we discovered we were assigned two twin beds, which is not suitable for two grown adults that are sleeping in the same bed. We immediately went back downstairs to clarify. Mayah told us, “We ran out of king beds. When you book by a third party, we give you whatever we have available.” This was never communicated at check-in. We
