Courtyard by Marriott Rockville

Great price, great location, great guest experience. I was hesitant when I arrived & seen the buildingfrom the outside, not at all like the others I've stayed. Inside, it took a minute for someone to realize I was there. Throughout my short stay, all the staff were phenomenal. Room was perfect for me, looked clean & smelled good. No chemical, perfumery or musty smells...always a plus! Sliding door to my balcony beneath a nice Sycamore tree. Loved the bathroom, classy & clean!! Individual wall thermostat, set & forget, so no waking up to hot or freezing room. Bed was comfy although a bit worn.

I came here for a little getaway with my girlfriend and the room we had was clean and nice. The bed was really firm surprisingly which wasnt my favorite but it was fine. Big fan of the free water near check in for those working out. Also big ups to Richard who helped me out at the desk and over the phone.

Very nice rooms, with lots of space. The bathroom was very clean and had a great shower. There's a individual coffee maker in the room. The Bistro serves a limited selection of food and drinks. My room seemed to be a wireless dead zone for my cellphone, though I had decent signal for my laptop.

First time at this hotel, we thought that we should try a different hotel this time. The courtyard is well located in Rockville, MD. Has a lot of places to eat near by and if anyone is looking to stay in a hotel to visit a friend or family member at Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center, this hotel is a great location. || What we found weird is that the parking is on the side of the hotel. Then you have to walk around to get to the front of the hotel to reach the lobby. We checked in ( the front desk clerk was super friendly), then after checking we walked all around the first floor to reach the elevator ( exactly the elevator is not next to the lobby) you pass several doors that lead to the parking area but you need to check in first. Once on the elevator, we reach our room. T

I’ve stayed here a few times, but each visit has been more disappointing than the last. It feels like the employees are completely overworked — usually just one person at the bistro and one at the front desk. When you call the front desk, it takes forever for someone to even answer the phone. The woman who checked me in seemed irritated and rushed, like I was bothering her. Not a great first impression. The hotel is supposed to be non-smoking, yet the hallways constantly smell like weed. The walls are paper thin — I could clearly hear my neighbor’s full conversation. There are no microwaves in the rooms, so you have to go down to the lobby just to heat up food. There’s also only one elevator in the entire building. The parking lot gets very dark at night with little to no lighting, and
