Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark

Can the hotel use a little love? Yes. However upon arrival we were greeted by the nicest person at reception, even asking if any of our kids have sensory issues to accommodate. The hotel has a schedule to animate children which is awesome. The waterpark has something fun for every age. Quiet time starts at 11:00pm. Until then, yes, expect it to be loud. The hurricane restaurant was clean and the staff super friendly. I would definitely come back.

We had a good experience here just stayed one night in our way from Toronto . The kids enjoyed the water park and the accommodations were comfortable. Unfortunately we just realized that our son left his beloved baby seal, squirrel, and capybara in the room, probably missed up with the sheets. He is devastated and I said I would try to get them back. He has had the seal since he was a baby. Unfortunately I can’t get through by phone to anyone at the hotel. I even tried the restaurant. All I get is the automated message. We are 4 hours away in eastern Massachusetts and are pretty desperate. We would pay for the toys to be mailed of course. We spent a long weekend here with our almost 2 year old. We loved the water park! Our daughter loved the little kids area, especially the slides! The arcade was fun for both us and our daughter as well. The lobby had events each night such as a bubble dance party with the characters, story time, and meet and greet. All of the staff was super helpful, kind, and always smiling! The rooms are a bit older, but very clean and roomy. We ate at the Hurricane grill the first night and service was excellent and the food was good. The only suggestion I would make would be maybe adding more anti-slip mats along the stone walkways in the park area. It gets very slippery especially when the park is busy. I did slip even while walking.

I took my wife and two kids(14yr boy, 13yr girl) for single overnight stay. We got the room where they had their own space. I was a little worried about the age but it worked out. The beds were fine, the room was dated. But it was the hair ball left in the tub that killed the room for me. On check in the lady was rude but aside from that all the staff were great. There are not nearly enough tubes for the lazy river, so it's more of in indoor water walking track. Because of the age of my kids they spent most of the time waiting on the Avalanche. They had fun but efficiency wise, they have one person loading (the 2) tubes they use on the bottom, who wasn't paying attention. They have one person on top loading 3 different slides.
