West Mountain

We had a magical time at West Mountain. We went for a group trip and can’t wait to go back. From the ski instructors to the cafeteria cooks, the staff was remarkable. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We are beginner skiers and the instructors went above and beyond to get us going! They were fantastic with my children (7,5) as well as with me. The lodge was spacious and welcoming. The food was great. The night time tubing party was a blast. We truly don’t have a negative thing to say! Can’t get back there fast enough!

Our favorite mountain for a family ski weekend is West Mountain! Just the right size to not lose anyone but big enough to explore trails throughout the weekend. RFID tickets keep the lift moving with no lines! Excellent pricing. Even the food is good (try the hamburgers—awesome!) I recently organized a huge group of families to ski at the mountain, and we were handled beautifully! We enjoyed a BBQ buffet and tubing party with s’mores. The staff is friendly and helpful. Ski lessons proved very worthwhile. Great trails with snow making. Rental process was quick and easy and well priced. Can’t wait to return to West for more family ski fun!

Breathtaking views and in great location near lake george / saratoga springs. Snowtubing has 2 levels which was great for my Lil kid and hope to still be back to try skiing.

Fantastic views and great skiing. Definitely one of the best Adirondack mountains. Friendly staff and efficient lift lines. Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Snow tubing was so much fun Time went fast I recommend going early and choosing as it will have less people in line and you can go more times
