Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Queensbury Glens Falls/Lake George Area

We stayed here for a few nights in the Lake George area, just as a mini-vacation. The hotel was very accommodating when we arrived earlier than expected for our reservation, and they were able to get us into our room early. The room, a king suite, was very clean and comfortable. We used the pool and hot tub area, which was very clean and enjoyable. The coffee and breakfast food were typical hotel quality (perfectly fine but definitely not gourmet), but the breakfast area was large, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast attendants were incredibly pleasant and attentive - they checked to make sure everyone was all set before putting breakfast items away at the end of the breakfast hours, and even very kindly allowed some folks who arrived a little late to take their time grabbing wha

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I used the keyless option for the first time, but that really does not work when you have a guest. The front desk clerk cheerfully gave me a set of keys and let me know I was gold level (which I knew, but it was nice of her to make sure I knew). I appreciated the upgrade, but it was to an accessible room which made me concerned I may be taking an available room from someone who really needed it. Additionally, the bed was very firm. This may be helpful to someone with accessibility issues, but we missed the melt-into-bed mattresses the Marriotts usually use. Not often do larger companies truly show you how much they care. Had to travel for work and my birthday fell on one of the days I was staying at this hotel. I check in and in my room.The staff have left me a birthday card.And some goodies. That is truly awesome that they took the time out of their day to do that.And to wish me a happy birthday. This is why I stay at this hotel.This is why I stay at marriott hotels because the service is unmatched.

Had a great stay at this hotel! Would recommend for anyone going to the Lake George Area. While it is not in Lake George, it was just a short drive away and there was plenty of parking at the hotel. Hotel: I am very picky and paranoid about cleanliness of hotels and I have to say, this one got a passing grade from me! The eating area was always clean and neat. Same with the lobby and hallways. The room was spacious. I searched and there are no stains on the bedding or on any of the bathroom towels and mats. The bathroom was also spacious. I did not find any questionable stains or hair on the floor which is rare. The toilet was clean as well. And if I think this hotel is decent, it's probably extremely clean for most people! It was acceptable for an overnight stay. Clean hotel and staff was pleasant. Disappointed in my complimentary upgrade. I should never have agreed. I originally reserved a 2 Queen suite as that was available for points. The upgrade was a King Suite that was Handicap accessible. Not a nice room. The room is located across from the elevator. And directly above the outdoor spa. The bathroom had six (6) tissues. No additional boxes under vanity. The hotel caters to family’s due to the Lake George proximity. Very loud with kids crying and jumping on the floor. It did quiet down after 10 pm. Breakfast was okay. Expected multiple choices of muffins. Only choice was Apple Cinnamon. Expected Blueberry and Chocolate Chip to no avail. Probably a better visit would be mid week during t
