Singer Island Inn

Yikes. Entry way dirty, hoses strewn on ground, old battered chairs. Lots of mold. Very sketchy. Right behind tennis courts so flood light right into room through broken wooden slats right over bed. Kitchen lights flicker, faucets leak, no place in shower to hold shampoo or soap. Couldn’t turn off ceiling fan. Only mirror is in bathroom where there are no outlets so good luck doing your hair. I have it 2 stars because at least it was clean. Oh and 3 nights there zero housekeeping. No towels, no garbage removal. Zippo. I did text the “management “ stating I wasn’t comfortable with the broken slats in the blinds right over the bed where people could see right into room but wasn’t even afforded the courtesy of a response. Just. Yuck.

Booked through VRBO and wow don’t spend your money . Nothing luxury about it , light in one bedroom couldn’t turn on because the pull cord was gone . Bedroom two could not turn the fan on because the pull cord was missing . The temperature out side was 31 degrees due to a cold front and only one bedroom the heat worked. The living room had zero heat and bedroom two the thermostat didnt work properly and it would heat for a minute then shut off. The remote for the a/c screen was busted and couldn’t even see if it was working. The tv in the 2nd bedroom had no cable no nothing at all. In order to get to the bathroom you have to walk through the first bedroom and disturb them . There is nothing sound proof about this place. We messaged the staff through VRBO about the apartment being 48 degree

I think giving apartment 13 one star is too much. And the star rating is only because of the excellent location. My husband and I stayed there for a week. Everything was dirty: walls, floor, towels. There were no kitchen utensils. To turn on the only light in the bedroom, we had to climb onto the bed, which was very high, and unplug it from there, since it was connected to the ceiling fan.

We booked the “luxury apartment” via VRBO for two nights (Nov 13-15, 2025). To begin with, the check-in directions say to contact the host at least 24 hours prior to check in to get entry instructions. We contacted them through the VRBO chat in the morning the day before. After nine hours, we had not heard back from them so I tried calling the host’s phone number. They didn’t answer. I reached out to Vrbo’s chat and they just kept telling me to contact the host. I called VRBO and they tried to contact the host and couldn’t get ahold of them, so they told me to keep trying. They referred me to another customer service phone number who said they couldn’t help. We flew to Florida hoping for the best and finally got a response back from the host with the door code. Great. We enter the unit and

The room was horrible, they didn't give us towels, the furniture was broken, everything dirty, walls stained, floor stained, the bathroom was... way too small, nothing like the pics in the app. They offered to switch rooms, but in the end they never did. We wanted to cancel the booking, couldn't, because they wouldn't let us. We couldn't go to another hotel, but since the owner has the last decisión, we had to stay at that "apartment".
