Best Western Palm Beach Lakes

I enjoyed my stay. Nothing especially outstanding, but nothing to gripe about either. The pool area and overall esthetics reminded me of 1970s motels (in a good way). Easy walk to BJ'S Brewhouse for relaxing food and drink. Breakfast was decent, no complaints. Room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel's location was acceptable, although it was not in close proximity to the downtown area. Our room was quite clean, but the facilities were rather dated, particularly the bathroom walls. Despite having two king-size beds, the room felt somewhat small for our family, and the low ceiling was reminding motel accommodations. The staff members were generally friendly. The breakfast offered was not exceptional; I would suggest that there is a room to extend the variety of items provided, as it was quite basic.

I stayed here a few years ago and decided to return; however, I will not book this hotel again Pros: Location, location, location! The hotel is close to the airport and there's a ton of places to shop. Most front desk staff is nice. Cons: First, I received a call as soon as my flight landed regarding an issue with my room. It wasn't a big deal but while I had the agent on the phone, I asked if I could check in early and she said I could. When I got to the hotel, I was told there was an extra fee to check in early which wasn't told to me over the phone. Second, the bathrooms are not cleaned well. I had to buy my own cleaning products to make it feel sanitary. Third, the cleaning/maintenance staff is loud. The door rooms aren't very thick so you can hear everything going on outside; howe

Positive: "" Negative: When it was time to get ready to head out, I left the shower running on hot for over 5 minutes and it never got warm. So, a cold shower was the way to start my day. Frankly, not pleasant. The hotel is old and not much better than an old Florida motel.

This hotel is so convenient to PBI, restaurants, West Palm. The rooms are newly renovated, comfy beds! It comes with free breakfast. Our room was on the courtyard side. It is a nice relaxing area with a heated pool. Astrid is very helpful and considerate and Ron at the desk was very gracious and professional. Thank you!
