Silver Rapids Lodge

We stayed during the coldest weekend of 2026 (so far) and the heat went out the first night. Obviously, it was not a good feeling waking up freezing cold and the heat being at 50° but we called at 6:30am and got an immediate response & solution. We got fully refunded and they paid for us to stay elsewhere. Good customer service on their end!

Beautiful hotel/ lodge in a beautiful area! Fairly close to Ely for any shopping/ gas/ etc. Only downside of my room was that the curtain in the bathroom was very thin and nearly see through. Anyone could look in if they wanted too. Also there were lady bugs in the room. Otherwise very nice stay!

I stayed in the motel for Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful stay. The room had a beautiful view and all necessary amenities for a relaxing weekend. As booked as they were, it wasn’t crowded a single bit. We spent our fair share of time hanging out near the water or on the porch and it was so peaceful. I even chatted with other guests about how nice it is there. It looks like the rooms were very recently redone as well. Will be back next time I am in the area!

My Husband booked a pet friendly cabin in the off season despite trying to call them multiple times to ask a few questions with no answer. We got there and had keys to a motel room left for us. 2 people who could have cared less gave us keys to a cabin, the cabin was full of dirty laundry. No electricity was working. The 2nd cabin had dead mice and dcon in every corner… um, we brought our dog? Ended up in a motel room there. Gross all around with zero concern from the manager. There are way too many places around here. Don’t settle.

We were here for 4 nights in September. This place is not safe for seniors with mobility issues. There are no lights (not even motion lights) on the walkway to our door. By the way our room was taped shut (for painting) and the door numbers were painted over. We arrived at 4:30 and lucky that the painters were cleaning up and removed the plastic from our door, window, and air conditioner. They were nice guys!|The room was ok, but there is absolutely no light at night in there (pitch black), they need night lights in the bathroom or someone is going to get hurt.|The bartender Ben was great also!
