Signature Inn Santa Clara

Nice modern room, a little small, not much clothes space, no microwave, but otherwise fine with reasonable rate. Staff isn’t friendly, but not rude. Location is perfect next to Santa Clara University, tons of restaurants across the street and nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

Positive: Though room is small, it is modern and renovated over the past five years. Location is great, close to Santa Clara University and short driving distance to restaurants and shops. Negative: A little tricky locating driveway into hotel. You turn into the driveway right before you'd be making a right turn, so I missed it twice.

A decent hotel with better amenities than other motels. Suitable for business travelers.

Stayed here 2x in the last week. The first time I was in a room with a King size bed (I think 201?) and it was extremely comfortable, the room was clean and very nice. I decided to stay again but got the Queen bed. Wow the bed was So incredibly hard most likely due to there being no box spring under the mattress and the frame having little to no support. I laid down for about 30 mins to try and sleep but the mattress made my hips ache like crazy. Went to the desk to ask for a room change or a matress topper and they said the best they could do was offer me a blanket. I had to use all the pillows, 2 extra blankets and double up my own blanket in order to make the bed remotely comfortable. I woke up and my body ached for several hours. My son stayed for one night on December 30th. He was charged with a $100 security deposit and he has not received it back yet. We have talked twice on the phone with an Indian guy at reception who assured they were sending it back inmmediately. Still waiting. Very annoyed and thinking of next steps.
