Other than the shared bathrooms, it was a perfect low-cost SRO spot for the in-between apartments Californian. And, San Pedro’s a great neighbourhood to live in Los Angeles without feeling like you live in Los Angeles. Being so close to downtown Long Beach only reinforces that.
