Guest Harbor Inn- Port of Los Angeles (San Pedro)

The Guest Harbor Inn is an easy stay for those departing from the major cruise port nearby. It’s in a location within walking distance to restaurants, has onsite parking, and partners with a shuttle service for transit to the port area. There’s also an Indian-food truck on site with cute patio seating. Overall, it’s a no-frills inn, without an elevator and with quite a bit of street noise. Our room had an upper-level window that had no drapery or cover, so the light from the hotel sign shined in brightly. The rooms are basic but updated, and the bathroom was clean and nicely stocked. It’s not an indulgent stay but isn’t meant to be — on the flip side, it’s definitely convenient, friendly, and a good value.

This was a really cool little inn near the Los Angeles Port. The property features flavorful, fun murals throughout, which gave it a great vibe right away. There was also a delicious Indian food truck set up right in the parking lot which had the best Naans I have ever had! |The rooms themselves were outstanding. Very clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. The manager, Sam, was awesome and shared great local insight and recommendations. We parked our car at the inn and picked it up after our cruise—it was an easy 15–20 minute walk to the port.|This subdivision of LA is super cool, with lots of art shops and local culture. I definitely want to come back and explore more after staying here. One highlight was an amazing sandwich spot inside a nearby market called Chachi’s,

If you're looking for a quiet inexpensive place to sleep close to the cruise terminal...this is the place. Very clean and quiet with no frills. It was perfect for us. we were there Jan. 17th. 20 mins to port. They will arrange for shuttle if needed.

Not a restful stay. Beds and pillows were both very hard and it was extremely noisy. Your luck may vary, but we heard multiple emergency vehicles and nonstop helicopter noise from 9:30-11pm. It sounded like the windows were made of paper. And maybe they were, because it rained all night and it dripped inside to drench the windowsill. When our neighbor opened and closed their door (which they did a lot at 10pm) our room shook. Didn’t try the AC/heat because it smelled bad when we turned it on. ||I booked this place because of the convenient location for food and access to cruise port, and reviews citing friendly staff. However, we arrived at 5pm and the neighborhood looked too sketchy to be out with kids in the dark (rain didn’t help). This feeling was exacerbated by the “office” being only

Fantastic hotel, and well located for the port, fairly priced and the large sized rooms have comfortable bed, good facilities, dining table, microwave, fridge, coffee machine and all the usuals. Towels, shampoo and shower gel provided in the spacious bathroom. Staff friendly too, and available 24/7 for late check-ins. No food on site but recommendations were provided for door dash, and several well known fast food restaurants within a short walk. About 2 hours on public transport from LAX, which cost me $1.75.
