All Star Inn

For the price motel 6 would have been better. It is very run down. All though the beds where clean the bathroom had hold in it. Also there is no maid service. So we had to track down an employer to get fresh towel. There was 4 of us I one room we checked in at night and asked for extra pillows and they said no that they would being them tomorrow not happy about the at all. The area it is in is a rough one with lots of homeless people. So be careful when out. The day time staff was nice. Though

The rooms have been upgraded to be neat and "clean". For a two star hotel it was a nice stay. It was quiet, the floors are all hardwood vinyl which is asthetically appealing. The water is nice and hot. The air worked. Cons had to bring my own towels. None of the towels were usable except as floor mats. One of the sheets had a bad stain. The fridge wasn't cleaned in between visitors, but it wasnt dirty. It just wasn't clean either. The didn't clean under the beds but who cares. Overall a pleasant stay. They are 5 minutes away from target and a bunch of restaurants like taco bell, mcdonalds, dominos, ihop, etc. The sushi 21 might be nice, but we didn't stop in. 8 minutes from the san pedro marina. I didn't get good pics of the towels and stains because i snap chatted the piece.

Health code violations everywhere you look. The price was way too high and the room was disgusting , dirty , I was scared to touch anything. I pulled back the blanket and there were crumbs and dirt in the bed. The towels had hair on them. I left immediately and demanded my money back. The lady at the front desk was very mean and rude. She scolded me for requesting clean sheets so, I thought, forget this! Got my money back and left.

The check in clerk was amazing however the hotel had only cold water in the showers, fridge was broken the shower towels were the size of hand towels and so thin. When I complained to the manager she told me that since no one else said anything I was lying. Refused to refund or discount. She was rude. The room was dirty and the beds and pillows were hard and uncomfortable.

Very comfortable rooms. Clean and neat. Coffee available in room as well as a microwave and refrigerator. The only downside is that there are not any restaurants within close walking distance. Excellent pizza options available for delivery. Left car there while on cruise and had no issues.
