Sheraton Suites Chicago Elk Grove

The staff members were super nice and friendly. This made the stay worth a while. The rooms could use refresh/upgrade. The french doors can go, TVs can be upgraded, the room layout could use an update as well. I had two major issues - 1) heater not working and 2) flooding in the bathroom after using the shower. The heater got fixed after I brought it up. It was nice to come back to a warm room. The flooding happened few times after taking shower.... the curtain wasn't doing it's job, but figured out what needed to be done after few flooding.

From start to finish I had nothing but exceptional service all throughout the way. With short check in times that led to the luxurious and spacious room I was able to get in and start my stay right away. All aspects of the room were spotless and there was plenty of space for work, as well as relaxation. The bathroom was clean and felt like I was the first to use it, which was very comforting. The dining options were phenomenal with the lobby bar, junipers restaurant and club lounge all having high quality choices. The staff was exceptionally hospitable all through the stay and my only concern is why I haven’t stayed here more. I will definitely be returning!

Room was modern, spacious, and clean. ||Check-in was quick. ||WiFi signal was pretty good. Fitness center had a couple ellipticals and treadmills along with a set of weights. ||There weren’t really any restaurants within easy walking distance. Good location overall though. ||If you like to go on a nice, relaxing run (like I do) or bike, there is Busse Trail nearby. ||I’d probably stay at this property again. Price was reasonable for what you get.

Staff is great but the last 2 stays which were just an overnight only resulted in someone knocking on my door around 9 to see if I was gone and then my key stopped working. Check out is noon. The hotel was far from busy. Not sure why this keeps happening because it hasn't been and I've been coming here every 2 months for the last 2 years.

This was hands down the worst hotel experience I have ever had. It took over 5 hours to check in because their card machines kept declining multiple cards. The lobby was full of other guests experiencing the exact same issue, which proves this was not an isolated problem. When I finally got into the room, it was the wrong room and I was quoted three different prices for my stay. The heat did not work, and even after repeated requests, no one ever fixed it. My family and I literally froze during our stay. On top of that, the room had bugs, which is completely unacceptable from a health and safety standpoint.
