Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Elk Grove Village/Itasca

I booked Country Inn & Suites specifically for the Park & Fly program. When we arrived to leave our car and catch our flight, there was no shuttle available at our scheduled 8:00 p.m. time, so the hotel provided a taxi voucher.||I double-checked with the front desk about our return — we were landing after 10:00 p.m., when their shuttle ends — and I was assured it wouldn’t be a problem and we’d be given a taxi voucher again. I was given the hotel’s number and told to call upon arrival.||When we landed and called, we were told no shuttle, no voucher, and nothing could be done. We had to pay for our own taxi. As a bus driver bringing groups through the area, I truly appreciate when a hotel is bus-friendly — and this property exceeded expectations. Everything was easy and accommodating for our group, which makes a big difference when you’re on the road. The staff was outstanding from start to finish, from the front desk team to the breakfast host. I’d especially like to recognize Silvia, the breakfast host, who welcomed me each morning with a warm smile. She made me feel genuinely appreciated, welcomed, and right at home. I made a ParkSleepFly reservation at the hotel and parked my car from late January til mid February 2026. I returned after a long day of travel and stayed one night to complete my reservation. The hotel staff was wonderful for all aspects of my stay. The hotel shuttles and check ins were so convenient and the staff of Tammy, Christine, Scott, Luis, and Freddie were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast on the morning of checkout was very good and again the staff was amazing, led by Sylvia with her care and attention to the food and dining area. I will recommend this hotel to everyone and hope to stay again myself if the need arises. Elk Grove Village is lucky to have the Radisson Country Inn and Suites there!

A wonderful hotel with a pleasant atmosphere and attentive staff. My stay left a very positive impression: everything was clean, comfortable, and well organized with guests in mind. I would especially like to mention Esta, who works in the dining area. She is incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. Thanks to her, every meal felt not just convenient but truly enjoyable. This kind of warm, human approach makes a big difference and creates a real sense of hospitality. Thank you to the hotel and the staff for such a positive experience. I would be happy to stay here again.

Hotel staff were all absolutely wonderful, especially the cleaning staff. the breakfast was very yummy. unfortunately the room was very outdated. the carpets were torn up in places. the phone did not work at all despite being properly plugged in. the ac in one room of the suit wasn't working to the point it smelled like it was burning. they sent maintenance up to fix it and it sorta worked after that, but the thermostat control on the wall was missing so clearly somebody knew the ac unit was messed up. the pool and hottub also seemed very ill maintained. i wouldn't spend quite as much on a room if i stayed again, considering the smaller and cheaper room my friend booked was much nicer, better kept, and more updated.
