Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel

Our go to hotel whenever we are visiting Portsmouth. It's an older property, but it has a lot more character than many of the newer places that have gone up in recent years. Front desk is always super nice. As a titanium member, they usually give me a nice little upgrade. Always appreciated. The lounge, while modest in size has some snacks throughout the day. Relatively easy walk to get down to the shops.

Fantastic stay starting with Liz in valet. I was frustrated by the lack of self-parking options but Liz was very helpful. They are the reason I decided to park at the hotel and use valet instead of parking off site. Nick L at the front desk upgraded us to a fantastic suite (condo) which was a pleasant surprise. He was very nice, professional, and informative.

The rooms were very nicely styled and thoughtful. Great views, clean, comfortable. There was a hole in the bedsheet which wasn't a deal-breaker but should have been identified by housekeeping. The lighting options in the room are nice, the bathrooms are duly elegant without being pretentious. The hotel was undergoing construction at the time, it wasn't a problem at night, but the noise during the day was a bit annoying - but also good to see the hotel expanding and thriving post-pandemic.

Its downtown location is a big plus, making it very convenient to walk to restaurants and shops. We stayed on the 5th floor in a club room. Everything in the room was new and in excellent condition, and we had a very comfortable sleep. |My only minor comment is about the club room lounge. With a bit of extra effort, they could provide higher-quality breakfast items. Preparing a delicious scrambled egg should not be an issue for a hotel of this caliber.

Excellent hotel. I was there on business a week ago. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They served us breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Food was great. No complaints. Our convention was held on-site in their conference room. Service was outstanding. Valet parking was seamless. The Valet employees who worked during my stay were friendly and highly professional. 5 stars all day long. Thank you!
