Sheraton Fairplex Suites & Conference Center

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Fairplex Hotel & Conference Center for a Valentine’s getaway and unfortunately, the experience was extremely frustrating due to the staff. To start, we were locked out of our room THREE separate times during our stay. Each time, we had to inconveniently come all the way down to the front desk to get it resolved. The first time was the worst — the maintenance worker brought up the wrong device not once, but twice. We were stuck standing outside our room for about 30 minutes when we urgently needed to get inside to retrieve something. That level of disorganization is unacceptable, especially at a hotel at this price point. In my opinion Sheraton prop ties are Marriott’s ugly step child. I have yet to find a Sheraton tha I really liked. So the hotel is very dated. It really is dated and they will go through a remodel next year in 2027. You can see in the bedroom photo how old the rooms looks. I was upgraded to a corner balcony suite. The corner suite is actually a little smaller than the regular rooms and all rooms are suites but I loved the balcony. It was 83 degrees in January and I definitely used the balcony which was very secluded. The front desk staff were awesome. They wanted to waive my parking but I asked if they could charge me since my company pays and get bonus points instead. Parking was 22.00 a night for 2 nights and they gave me 5,000 points. This is a pretty big hotel - 8 stories tall. All rooms are suites with a sitting room, small kitchenette and bedroom. 2 big screen TV's. They are pet friendly. Staff is friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were super quick. |Our room had some noise from the elevators, but was otherwise very comfortable. |The bar/restaurant in the hotel is nice with indoor and outdoor seating and good food. There is agym and an outdoor pool and spa. |My only gripe was the $22 person night parking fee and $100 for pets and no included breakfast. |I would recommend getting a room on a higher floor and away from the elevators. I would stay there again.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for my Granddaughter's wedding and it was great. The customer service was good. Starting with the desk clerk at check-in, the Valet who helped me to my room, the pleasurable meals in the resturant, a very comfortable suite, and the housekeeping staff. Also lots of parking. I recommend you try it.
