La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pomona

Positive: Location and Breakfast included Negative: The hotel is in need of remodeling. Rusty fixtures are in the bathroom. Towels and bathroom supplies not sufficent for the stay.

Just to be clear, the very sweet, kind people who work at La Quinta Pomona are in no way responsible for the three-alarm dumpster fire where they work. This is a very old property, which I understand has recently come under the La Quinta brand, now owned by Wyndham. Some La Quintas are lovely and new and are the best place to stop when traveling with a dog. Which is why we started frequenting them years ago. Alas, all La Quintas are not created equal. Someday this may be a nice property again, as I understand they are in the midst of a massive remodel. Here are some of the things I imagine they will want to address: chipped paint everywhere; room doors, trim, and molding throughout that look like the someone took after them with a hack saw; wifi that is spotty, slow, or simply unavailable

Dear La Quinta Inn & Suites Management, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your property. I have stayed at many hotels, including various Inn & Suites locations, and unfortunately this has been the worst experience I have ever encountered. From the moment we arrived, the service was unacceptable. Your front desk staff member, Roger, displayed none of the qualities expected of a customer-facing employee. He was rude, unwelcoming, and interacted with us as though he were reading from a script rather than providing genuine assistance. Upon entering our room, we discovered that both the air conditioning and the TV remote were not functioning. It is what you pay for. The front desk is great, nice customer service. It is a pet friendly hotel so urine smell and barking but I love dogs so I was ok with it. No maid service if you stay more then one night. The breakfast was good as well. Rooms are bid and the beds are comfortable.

It's a mid hotel. I came here for my 24th bday. The staff is super nice the ladies at the front desk are sweethearts one gave me ketchup lol. but it's kind of a dingy hotel. You can see it in the walls and the elevator creaking. Our room wasn't that clean when we first came. There was weird stuff on the chair. A hand print on the sink. Some of the drawers didn't work too. The fan making a weird clicking sound sometimes. The bathroom supplies weren't stocked either. Didn't have any shampoo or conditioner and barely body soap. The Hot Tub was super nice. All and all it's an alright hotel. Great staff? Kind of run down building but all and all I had a decent time
