Seaway Inn

The Seaway Inn is a gem! Location is perfect. Walkable to the beach, boardwalk and wharf and because it's up the hill and tucked back from the road its not loud. Recently renovated with cute wallpaper and comfy beds. The employees were very helpful with all of our requests. We would 100% stay here again

Perfect location, nice room, very clean. I felt safe walking in the evening and morning from here. There is a high visibility cross walk out front to go over to the Santa Cruz warf. Comfortable bed and chair with foot stool. This is a dog friendly motel, but the dog can't go on the beach, warf, or board walk.

The motel is nice and has a great location. The room design is really good and well thought out. While the space is a bit limited—which is expected for a motel-style room—it was still comfortable and pleasant overall.

I am so happy I found the Seaway Inn for when I visit my banana slug. It is adorable, like an old fashioned summer seaside hotel - check out the wallpaper in the bathrooms. The only downside was that I had to keep curtains over the beautiful picture window overlooking the boardwalk and ocean much of the time for privacy. But at other times I could just open the sliding door and enjoy an indoor/outdoor living experience. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and there is free parking!! AND it's about a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk, beach, and wharf. I will definitely stay here again.

Well laid out: counter w 2 chairs, fridge, micro, closet, drawers, great shower & toiletries and a nice sitting chair with ottoman. Ventilation was great with good AC as well as windows and a sliding glass front door for sea breezes. Lovely new decor, light and bright. We had a king room 223 upstairs with a partial water view. Only a block down to the beach and wharf, with boardwalk just a few blocks past that. Walking distance out W.Cliff Dr to watch the surfers and visit the Surf museum. Go during the week for reasonable prices. We will be back!
