1-Star Review: Wrongfully Evicted, Account Charged Anyway – Longtime Guest Speaks Out||||On the night of October 6th, 2025, my family was wrongfully evicted from our room at Seahawk Inn & Villas - accused of smoking inside the room.||||We were:||||1. Not smoking inside our room||2. In a room with no odor, no haze, no ashes, no cigarette butts||3. Visited by police, who found no evidence and cleared us of any wrongdoing||||Despite this:||||1. The owners still forced us leave immediately||2. We, two adults and two dogs, were given 20 minutes to pack and leave the property - with no place to stay for the night.||3. We have stayed here several times with our dog. We came on a weekend in March when it was is in the 80s. Not uncommon in NC. When we arrived they said no ac during the off season. They should inform people before they arrive. They said leave your door open. Not able to with a dog . We left first thing in the am. Didn't sleep at all due to no ac and humidity.

Friend and I stayed here last week. Just two old ladies enjoying a trip to the ocean while we still can. Kristie and all the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and appreciated! The room was clean, the grounds were well kept, and the swings, and umbrellas were a added treat. They were very friendly to our two small dogs as well. They may not have all the bells and whistles of some places, but if you want a nice place with great ocean front view and you are willing to show a little consideration yourself, you will find this to be a place to really relax and enjoy, and a staff that will make you feel welcome! I have stayed here for years but will not be back. In off season a lot of people just drive down you don’t have to make a reservation. The owners want to close their office at 5:30 every other hotel on the island except them and next door have people all night long. The same decor has been in these rooms for year old wicker furniture that you can’t get comfortable in. The last time I stayed had unruly guests below me fighting and arguing. This is what happens when you don’t have an employee on site. If the owners are going to be in the hotel business then they need to learn how to run a hotel.
