Island Inn of Atlantic Beach

We stayed two nights at Island Inn while visiting Atlantic Beach with our dog and 2-year old. It was winter so only a few other people were staying there. The room was cute and plenty of room to set up a crib and dog bed and get comfortable. Room and bathroom were clean and no issues with water. Great location, just a five-minute walk to the beach so we could catch sunrise and sunset. In the winter, the price was very reasonable, even with dog fee. Overall, a nice stay and I would stay here again if visiting Atlantic Beach.

We love it here, we can bring our fur baby and there is never any issues. We come down several times a year to visit family in Newport and after bad experiences elsewhere we are happy we found this hidden gem! The rooms are clean & close to the Beach, the staff is always friendly and we meet some of the nicest people! We definitely will be back on every trip!!!

Giving 2 stars after my previous 5 star. Never had issues here. 6 years ago I lived here for 3 months and no issues. Stayed on and off here ever since with no issues but this time was completely different. We were coming into town for one night and I bragged on how wonderful this place was, clean and great price. My friend booked a room. 503, king bedroom. When we arrived, we had already been driving 10 hours. We put our items in the room and left to eat. We returned and I went to the bathroom where it appeared to be feces stuck to the side of the toilet. I went to take a shower and the white shower curtain had a brown substance smeared on it. There was hair way up the walls and a yellow substance around the border. My friend went into the bedroom and came out freaking out about dead spide

We usually stay here because it is clean, close to everything and the beach. Also dog friendly. I was disappointed in our stay this last time. First of all we were on the back side of the motel the light was out overhead and I fell over the curb. 2nd we go in my husband was needing a shower before going to dinner. .the water was luke warm at best. No Hot water at all!! I called the office informed them of both issues. She states to let the water run which I did for 20 mins and still no hot water. The light outside was still out when we left. 2 day of fumbling around in the dark hoping not to fall again. They never replaced it. 3rd the fan didnt work in the bathroom. Probably won't be staying there again!

We love staying here. It was our second time and we loved it as usual. Very clean and you meet some great people staying there and the people who work there are very friendly and make you feel right at home. Very close to stores and restaurants. Most importantly , it's very close to the beach and docks(10 minutes or so) . It's about 10 minutes from Morehead fishing pier and it's even closer to Captain Stacey fishing charter. Y'all got to check that out too. We had so much fun and the captain and his mates are great. If y'all want a relaxing and simple /no drama vacation or get away. Come to Island inn , you will not be disappointed. 😊
