Island Beach & Racquet Club

I have stayed here several times. The condo was beautiful. AC/heat worked stellar. I accommodations were great. Full kitchen with cooking gear and 2 full bathrooms and bedrooms. Only a brief walk to the beach, like less than a football field distance. Convenient driving distance to restaurants and grocery store. And there is a shell gas station across the street for late night snacks/coca cola/etc.

Just got back from a beach vacation in July. We stayed at IBRC in unit 112 B. It was PERFECT for my party of 8. It wa son first floor which was so nice not having to climb lots of stairs. It was decorated nicely with a beachy theme. We loved having a screened in balcony - we could sit out in the evenings drinking some wine and not have to worry at all about bugs. We also loved having the convenience of our own washer and dryer - We used it so much we had to make a second trip to the store for more detergent. NIce surprise was that they also had beach chairs and an umbrella so we didn't have to rent one. It was a pleasant, short walk along the walkway to the beach. The room was great. However the first kitchen chair I sat in, the front leg came off. I blame it on the previous person, because I only weigh about 160 lbs. Two of the arodac chairs had broken arms. I also blame that on the previous people. The view is great. The location is great. I recommend this place as a great place to go.

Have booked this place for a week each, for two summers. I like everything about the place, except there are NO shaded areas to sit around beach-side pools. Location is great and convenient to grocery stores, dining, and the heart of Atlantic Beach.

Our family used to own a condo here and it was an amazing part of my child hood. The complex has two pools with grills to promote maximum family time. The best part is the proximity to the ocean. The views from the second and third floor are stunning. The quick walk to the beach is always filled with spotting local lizards. Great beach and the water is always welcoming in the summer r
