The William & Garland Motel

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night in September while we were visiting the coast. The room we stayed in was clean and welcoming with a very cute vintage theme. The owners were communicative and the check-in/checkout process was very easy. We found ourselves wishing we had reserved a longer stay! Will definitely be back if we visit the area again.

William and Garland is truly a hidden gem! What made our stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitality from the owners. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were visiting family—even though we’d never met Amanda and Perry before. They are genuinely kind, thoughtful, and go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with neat landscaping and charming, spotless rooms. The common areas are inviting for both adults and kids, creating a comfortable, homey atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the outdoor grill area—perfect for cooking up steaks—and had a blast playing yard games like cornhole. The walk down to the beach was absolutely stunning and added a peaceful touch to our days. We’ll definitely be back! We came in not knowing what

We loved our stay! The king room remodeled by HGTV was wonderful! Enjoyed time at the beach accessed by a scenic path over the dunes. Spent relaxing evening by the fire table. Looking forward to coming back!

Everything was very nice and so were the people working there. We had a smaller room so I can't say what other larger rooms are like. Ours was clean neat and had everything we needed. The toilet are was small. Overall our stay there was great. We loved the walk to the beach .

We had a great couples stay here! It was the perfect spot for walking to a non crowded beach. We appreciated being able to see the stars and the Milky Way from the beach. It was such a cute place. We ate out at the seating areas they provided. I enjoyed some sauna time. I would come back for sure. They were really nice and accommodating!
