Santa Cruz Inn

It is a great room for the price the only problem is the homeless people that walk around at night. Last time I stayed there I was disturbed by a guy right by my door because it had a small entry way and the guy was trying to get high and not be seen or block the wind or something. So that was the only problem I yelled at the guy to leave and without incident he left. Other than that it has been a great hotel. The rooms were really clean and nice especially for the price with no deposit. No bugs and no complaints about the cleanliness. If you like to just be left alone and like your privacy this is a great spot.

DO NOT STAY HERE- BUGS, BLOOD, CIGARETTE BURNS. I booked a room to stay overnight after needing to change flights due to a family emergency. I have stayed in motels before, and know generally what to expect, but this was a really poor experience. As soon as I entered the hotel room, there was an awful smell of stale cigarettes and mold. This was a non smoking room. I went to take a shower, and the towels had bug shells/carcasses on them! There also was a lack of soap, which was weird. When I went to sit on the bed, I pulled back the blanket and found the pillow had a cigarette burn on it. The sheets are polyester, so the burn was melted into the pillow. When I pulled down the blanket, I saw a bunch of hairs and small droplets of blood all over the sheets! I went to turn down the other b

This place is no longer open. It's converted to a homeless shelter. Don't know why it still appears on all the hotel sites.

This review is for Santa Cruz inn, Santa Cruz California. Price $100.00 a night. Not a bad room very basic. 2 queen beds, small sitting area most rooms seems you can park your vehicle right by your room door. It is an old building though, the walls seem to be well insulated and makes the room pretty quite. Can't hear noises from adjoining rooms like I have experienced at other hotels which is a plus. Bathroom is clean, towels are clean and smell fresh. Bed linen is clean, room seems well kept. Carpet in fair-good condition. Easy access to freeway. Not a bad stay for the price. Room also has fridge and microwave TV, is not far from many of the attractions in Santa Cruz ( board walk, ocean and others). The lady that helped us at the front desk was very nice checked us in, probably 1-2 minut

Convenient location right off the freeway. Very close to Santa Cruz Beach Board Walk. Just around the corner from Moe's Alley (Concert Venue). ||Santa Cruz Inn provided us with exactly what we needed for our trip. Very good amount of space to spread out, unpack and relax. | |We found our "go-to spot" in Santa Cruz. ||Thank you to the lovely lady that runs the office; She's always so friendly and available.
