First off, I have only stayed here off season. The rooms are very dated, and small, but they have a working stove and cooking utensils. It's only minutes away from P-Town. It located on a fantastic beach, with plenty of shells to find. At low tide, the water goes way out so there is plenty of space to look for rocks and shells. It's prices are very good for off season. The indoor pool is one of the warmest I've ever encountered, and the hot tub is large, and a great way to relax. I would recommend, if you are on a budget and/or having an extended stay.
Room was terrible. The bed was saggy with no support...got in it and sunk down and pillows were all lumpy. Bed was too small for 2 adults....looked like a twin size instead of double size. Rusty refrigerator. When we went to plug into an outlet it was loose and we were scared of getting electrocuted! Hotter than hell in the room because the heat was on and the temperature knob was gone, so we couldn't change the temperature. The shower had a shelf exactly where your elbows are when washing, so you whack them on it.
Positive: Location on the beach and close to town is nice but not walking distance. Negative: The cleanliness and smell of the rooms was not ideal. There is no air conditioning. Also you need to clean the room and take out your own trash in order to not be charged.
I last minute reserved and I’m thrilled. The staff is friendly and responsive. The room is a little dated but it’s clean. My bed is comfy and clean. The indoor pool and spa is nice. It’s clean and frankly a really nice amenity. The weather is crap and having an indoor pool is great. Lots of parking. The pictures are pretty accurate. Is it the Four Seasons no but it doesn’t pretend to be. Only the main building has a/c in the rooms. The kitchen has utensils. The bathroom is adequate. My room is right off the lobby on the first floor and it’s pretty quiet.
Location is fantastic. Hotel staff are totally wonderful. We always have a great time here. There is some opportunity for better sound proofing between floors. We had a night owl who also was up at 6am every morning above us. We did not complain, which was on us, but we could hear every step they made.
