Sand Dollar Motel

The pictures shown of the Atlantic beach location on Expedia are absolutely not of this location. I’ve included pictures of the Expedia ad and pictures of the actual room. We were told it would be 3 queens but it was 2 and a full. In addition to not being as advertised, the room was very dirty with multiple piles of dirt on the floor, old food crumbs all over the stove, and even fingernail clippings on the floor in the bathroom. The ceiling above the shower also had black mold on it. We were literally the only guests on site at the time so there was no rush or anything to get the room cleaned up. Location wise it is good, only about 2 blocks from the water and within 15-20 minutes of lots of great restaurants.

Me and my friend were greeted by the most attentive and friendly man when we walked in. He made us feel like family. This place is amazing- very clean. Beautiful views. If you somehow dont get to meet Billy, you are MISSING OUT. He is what really made our experience!!

This room was perfect for us. We wanted clean, neat, private and close to the beach and sound. We went to fish and had an awesome time Went back to this motel and was treated terribly. The heat was not coming on so my husband went to the office to ask about it. The manager said He controlled the heat and had it set on 75 degrees. The room was frigid with No heat blowing anywhere in the room. I stepped to the office and asked the manager to help me. He was very angry and said he remembered us complaining from before. I had NEVER complained, only left a great review. He said we would be banned from the premises and wouldn’t get a refund. I’m stunned that I was treated this way!!! I wouldn’t ever advise anyone to stay there from this point on. I should have been questioning making the reserv

I had the best service and vacation while staying at this motel. The staff is great the building manager billy was so kind to me!! I would recommend this place to all visiting the beach!

Travelling thru one night. Basic room but very clean and comfortable. Price was great. Highly recommend.
