Royal Inn, Charlotte Airport

Ok it's not for everyone. The property appears to be very very clean in appearance. Some things could stand to be washed better like the curtains, towels, sheets all need to be washed/ updated/ thrown away. Mattress was hard. I still think it's actually ok for a cheaper stay and they do weekly rates for longer stays. It was reasonably quiet aside from fire trucks and ambulances from the nearby road. Also bring spray, air purifier or something to clear the air because it does smell of smoke in the room terribly bad. Again the entire property was very clean in appearance, price, and quiet is the reason for my rating.

Needed a place to crash by the airport and stumbled on this hotel. The price was right, front desk checked me in quick, nice bed-tv-shower, all I needed for a quick stayover. I will stay here again if the oportunity presents itself. Thanks Royal Inn. MM

Yes the location is great for when you have a cancelled flight. But room was not clean, smelled like someone smoked a pack of cigarettes and weed. Blanket and sheets had burn holes on them. Top it off there was a roach in our room. When I brought the issue to the front desk her response was oh yeah she shouldn't of put you in that room I know. Nothing else, wouldn't go back

Modern rooms, freshly re-painted (room 205). Shower was great! AC worked as it should be and parking was free. Nothing to complain for the amount paid.

Im cool with the seedy location, kinda like Wakanda (there but not really there). The residential couple who feel the need to keep their curtain pulled all the way back, with the shade off the lamp, and the 1000w lightbulb…actually make me feel safe (I know there’s a witness). The looseleaf paper thin walls were surprisingly quiet after the clicks of the lighters stop….but I just kept waiting for Rusty Nail with his bottle of Pink Champagne to come knocking looking for Candy Cane (Joy Ride 2001). If you looking for the Moozie Woozie….THIS IS IT BABY!
