Rodeway Inn & Suites Charles Town

The rodeway is a decent place to stay. Rooms are a lil dated but very clean. Service was exceptional. They have a mini casino and karaoke 🎤 🤣 they have a restaurant on site, room service, a bar, they also serve a hot breakfast in the morning time. Which was pretty darn good imo. It's right beside Hollywood casino 🎰 and they have a shuttle to take you there if you don't want to drive. Free parking, free Wi-Fi and tbh unless you want to leave the hotel. You don't need to leave the hotel. Beds were comfy with lots of pillows, that's always a plus. They have smoking and non smoking rooms available as well. This was my first time staying and I got it on price line as an unknown deal for a good discount. I didn't know where I was staying till I booked but I'm glad I took that chance cuz I found

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Clean rooms, the shuttle service from the hotel to casino is great! The shuttle runs every 20 mins. The bus was clean, the driver super friendly , and it's awesome for the hotel to provide this. Free of charge so make sure you leave a tip for the driver! Would definitely stay here again!

I’ve never been disappointed at the Rodeway Inn—formerly the Turf Motel—(and still locally referred as The Turf) in Charles Town, WV. Their staff is pleasant and our room always clean. The well-supplied/serviced breakfast area overlooks a pleasant grassy expanse where we watched a “herd” of squirrels frolic. Yes, we visit the close-by casino in the evening—the motel is part of a shuttle loop that has regular pick-ups to and from the casino. But there’s much more to this town, like a restored theater, The Old Opera House—we’ve seen several productions there. And the creation of mosaics on the walls at Washington and Charles Streets were overseen by famed Philadelphia-based artist Isaiah Zagar. It was dark when we arrived. When we got to our room (an exterior room) the door was open, told front desk clerk but she couldn’t leave front desk. Tv too small for room. Lighting could be better in bathroom. Pillows were like travel size on a king bed. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Staff was friendly.

Recliners were very comfortable and the suite had a lot of space. The patio did not have much of a view because of the brick wall. The hot tub took 30 to 40 minutes to fill to the water level and the jet pressure seemed strong. I did not care for the mirrors in front of the toilet and to the right of when I opened the hotel door (felt like somebody was jumping out at me from behind the door). There was hair in the hot tub when I first got there from the previous guest. Other than that, everything did seem very clean. The staff was very nice. The complimentary breakfast could be better. I think if we stayed again we would do one of the regular rooms. I did have a ton of fun during the trip and so did my wife. It was our 8th year wedding anniversary.
