Rodeway Inn Rutland - Killington

Real peaceful spot to rest without encountering any problems, Staff members are friendly and willing to help. this was actually my first hotel experience and I'm happy with it overall.

DO NOT GO!!! The people that run this place are actually disrespectful as can be like there is no tomorrow not to mind you the talk crap right in front of you this place is absolutely disgusting the only person we like there was the house keeper she was great and got us everything we needed as fast as she could them on the other had we had to complain to get anything we needed like vacuums let alone found a needle cap in our room not to mention they barley understand English so therefore you have repeat yourself 40 times just to get your question across oh and you will probably get kicked out for absolutely no reason oh and for you reashma don’t tell someone your sorry after you talk bad right infront of there face

Arrived at this hotel after 1 am to find the office closed and my keys in a mailbox outside the door, which I thought was pretty cool. Get to the room, it's kinda dingy but when I pulled the blankets back to get into bed, the sheets were filthy. There were stains and something stuck to the sheets. I decide I would check the other two beds, one was ok, the other had long black hairs and dirt where your feet are on the sheets, they were clearly not changed. I proceed back to the phone on the wall outside the office door and dial the first number, someone picks up the phone and hangs up. I call the number that says manager, get a man on the line and explain why I'm calling, he tells me that he won't charge me for this night (I was still charged for the night anyway) and the call the service n

I'm not a guest but my friend is and I use the wifi when I visit. The rooms are basic but adequate and the maintenance man is pretty quick to respond to any real problems.

A very unpleasant stay. Baseboard heat not working. Wall heater/ac blew directly on bed, was noisy, intermittent, so difficult, impossible for us to sleep. It was also inadequate, room chilly. (Same situation once before-forgot it was at that motel.) Bathroom shade tattered. No listing for TV channels. Room, bathroom quite clean and appliances adequate. "Breakfast" very limited, no eggs, waffles, no honey for tea, etc. Being unable to sleep well and having little good to eat made for a difficult stay. Low price but won't return for sure, not worth it.
