Customer Reviews
Mo and Raffie are great. Always friendly. Rooms are clean, location is great. Next to several stores and restaurants in walking distance.
This is a small, dated hotel. It is also a small fraction of the price of anything else within a half hour of Killington. Room and bathroom were clean. I don't think my room would have been comfortable for the four-person maximum, but was fine for the two of us. I read some horrible reviews on my way into town and got a little nervous - didn't line up with my experience at all. It's not where I would go for an extended vacation, but for somewhere to crash after a day on the slopes or mid-road trip, it's fine. Safe, clean, convenient location. Breakfast wasn't amazing, but had some variety and was in line with the price of the hotel.
This motel is pretty rough - we ended up in a corner room that didn't have windows and looked like the door had been kicked in once or twice previously, and only barely closed. it didn't do a great job of keeping the cold air out whilst we were there over the winter. The whole place needs a refurb, and im not sure you can do much for a room without a window other than block it off and use it as a cleaning closet. ||||Breakfast was ok - generally a cold buffet, but there were waffles and toast available. ||Would advise the owner to go easy on the religious radio in the breakfast area - not everyone wants to listen to preaching first thing in the morning. ||Manager was helpful enough.||No maid service at all: Beds weren't made, towels weren't changed at all during our 4 night stay
I think my favorite part of this hotel was parking at their half empty lot with broken down cars and walking up to the locked doors. I loved standing in 17° weather talking to the owner who said 'you don't have a reservation ' though I did and gave him the numbers. The best part of my trip was deciding to drive 4 hours home at 11:30 at night because hotels nearby were 300$ for a minimum of 2 nights and I thought this lodge would give us a good chance of saving money and cheap living until the next day. Anal was helpful in telling me how it's a sad inconvenience for me and how he's sorry but that doesn't create a vacancy nor does it fix 1/2 your broken rooms during remodeling. Wonder why 1/2 the rooms need remodeling during a busy season in VT? was it bugs or section 8 housing or what.
Not a very friendly motel when u can't see ur child and smoking weed and also having a man stay with you in the room using a voucher. Also we drove a long way so the child could spend the night but was turned away. Also having someone die there as well . This place needs to be shut down
