Rodeway Inn Fort Smith I-40

This was probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in the first room they gave us. There was blood on the mattress cockroaches in the room. We had a telephone up on the shelf alongside the bed that said motel six on it with no court going to the wall or a place to plug it in so we have to be moved to another room after the blood on the mattress we go to the second room they put us in a handicap assisted room there’s tons of cockroaches in there, it stunk like cigarette smoke. It was so bad that we asked for our money back. Staff got upset because we were asking for the money back on the room. I strongly suggest not ever staying at this hotel

First night I stayed, they charged me a different rate, then want a $20 night pet fee for my one old service dog. After fees and taxes, $80 a night and $170 for two days is a bit excessive for a place that serves you flat and sweaty pillows that have been used until they are a pancake and stained yellow from other people’s grime… $80 a night for an unclean room, with only one towel, and peepholes cut all in the curtains, and in some rooms the mirror is right behind the window view so someone from outside of the window can look in and see your reflection in the bed. The whole place feels seedy and unsafe for a woman. Mind you, for $80 a night, I can stay at a real hotel with actual shampoo and breakfast, not a seedy motel that can’t even get the pillows fixed when new ones cost $4 a piece f

Positive: The staff was pleasant Negative: It was dirty, sheets had holes and were stained, the mattress was worn out, roaches, dirty stiff shower curtain, half the lights didn't work, the manager didn't seem surprised when I told him about the roaches

I asked front desk if room was clean. “What a joke “ Bed Bugs. And Bed Bugs Dirty stained mattress Dirty stained cover. Asked for money back. Laughed and called police and banned me from property Clerk went to look at room and said those were Not Bed Bugs. There is NO Bugs that I want to share a bed with I will be contacting Roadway Inn corporate AND Choice Hotels. Maybe even an Attorney NOT. HAPPY at All

Roaches in Room 105. Small, medium, and large. There is really nothing else to say. Check in staff was friendly and fridge and microwave were a nice surprise. Verify problem corrected prior to staying. Not worth the budget friendly price.
