Rodeway Inn Charlotte South

Best hotel in south side and front desk guy Sam was very good and polite and whenever I come here Sam accommodate me very well and they offer continental breakfast and provides everyday service .I definitely recommend to stay here .Sam is Awesome .

Definitely in the ghetto. Floor not swept, mopped, vacuumed nothing. Faucet on bathroom sink not attached. Toilet had pee all around on the floor. Pillows on the bed need to be trashed. Bed kind of uncomfortable. Good thing only 1 roach seen in a 2 day stay. 1st time in Charlotte and I wouldn’t stay here again. Not a horrible experience but was definitely an experience. Things could be better!

Positive: Nothing I left Negative: Was dirty out side, was bad location and sketchy area, key card did not work manager had to let me in, inside lock was broken, burn holes in covers, rust in bathroom door frame, walls metal like prison felt like every word I said could be heard

The man at the desk "you pay $85.00" - I presented a Priceline deal and as I have referenced the room rate of $55 plus tax he responded rooms were available at $85 (including tax) plus a refundable $25 deposit. I proceeded to show him my reservation on my phone that I was in the middle of finalizing for the total cost of $61.38 and he said nothing went onto his computer threw his hands in the air and said "you want room you pay $85" I suggested the room rate per priceline he repeated "no more you pay $85.00" in the middle of attempting to understand what had just happened he told the man behind me to come forward and again stated "you want room? $85.00" and proceeded to check out the next guest. He deleted the Priceline offer and expected me to just disregard that it was even an option. Ne

When i went to use the bathroom, i flipped on the light and one small roach came scampering out. My new roommate, who i named Dale. Later he told me his name is actually wHoopi Goldberg, but not to tell anybody. Anyway, then i saw what looked like projectile blood splatter stains on the perimeter of the wall around the toilet. Dale says theyre just kool aid, but i dont know man... So, i fired up the shower, and their appeared to be poo-stains from somebody experiencing internal bleeding. Dale didnt have anything to say that time. :(
