Rodeway Inn Altoona Orchard Plaza

Room was exactly what I expected for the price. Basic amenities for a basic price. Water was hot room was clean. No frills no glitz no glamor. Didn't see any bugs or anything. Would stay again if I needed a room in a hurry.

***ONLY 5 star to be seen *** DONT STAY HERE MY BF AND I RENTED A ROOM AT 5:09pm and by 7:03pm we were standing at the sink and there on the floor was a cockroach. After looking it up it’s a German cockroach (pictured below) I called to the front desk and explained we were leaving didn’t want the room. Was told to get a picture, went to do so when the little guy ran away and I pulled the mini fridge out where there was 5 more. (Didn’t picture this) We went to the office and was greeted by Paola * (spell check me ) where we showed her the pictures and was then told The manager was informed of the situation however she informed us we were not going to receive our refund for the room. I asked her to get the manager on the phone. She declined to do so. Told us she cannot contact them at this

I went to Altoona PA this weekend and stayed at this motel. It was clean, cheap, clean lol and it was no disturbance at all. The gentleman man who works the night shift was so friendly and helpful. My daughter lost her phone there and this gentlemano helped me out and I got my daughter’s phone. We stayed Thursday night and left and my daughter left her phone. I came back Saturday through Monday morning and helped me out. If you’re on a budget and looks for a motel that’s in your price range and still just as clean as the motels that are expensive I’ll recommend this motel. Let me tell you the good things about this hotel first. The water pressure in the shower was the best hotel shower ever. Stayed hot for four men to shower. Here are the negatives.
