TownePlace Suites by Marriott Altoona

The employees are always kind and helpful. Free breakfast is always appreciated. To anyone complaining about the breakfast, what the hell were you expecting from a free breakfast? It's not gourmet and there is no omelette station because it's a free breakfast at a hotel that charges less than $200 s night. If you desire a more upscale dining option for your breakfast, then what the hell are you doing in Altoona and staying at a Marriott? This breakfast is great for the location and service level. This isn't the The For Seasons in Manhatten.

After driving all day, we decided to stop here for the night. Choose the TownePlace Suites (used points ) and didn't regret it. The gentleman that checked us in was welcoming, friendly and explained the amenities and layout. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Location was right off the highway and parking was plentiful. Breakfast was your typical free hotel breakfast but it worked fine for us.

From the minute we entered the lobby we were impressed. The entire staff was extremely friendly and courteous at every interaction. The hotel is very new and they did a great job with the amenities including the flowers planted in various locations outside that are being well taken care of. The room was spacious and the chair was great for my son's laptop. Bathroom was clean and the shower was not like the traditional hotel shower- thank you. My son and I had a great stay and will absolutely stay here in the future.

They decorated the breakfast room to reflect the local heritage, incluing Horseshoe Curve. Next door to the VA hospital. I like having a complementary breakfast buffet because I'm usually in a hurry in the morning.

Clean hotel, plenty of parking, and comfortable beds for a family of 4. Just a quick overnight so we didn’t get to use the pool but it was bigger than most for a commuter hotel. Nice free breakfast buffet as well. Would definitely stay here again.
