Wingate by Wyndham Altoona Downtown/Medical Center

Our go-to hotel when we have to come to Altoona. The rooms are always fresh and clean. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The pool area is very well maintained and you can’t beat the free breakfast in the morning!

2 night stay for Thanksgiving, great location, friendly staff, comfy beds, super clean. Perfect for a weekend stay in Altoona. Everything was in working order. We'll definitely be back. Thank you to the staff, we had travel delays and had late check in, they were super considerate and very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Always stay here when we are in the area. Great location, right in town. Nice clean room with a great bathroom and shower. Nice to swim indoors late at night. Skipped the breakfast but was similar to other hotels. Friendly staff when arriving and leaving. Definitely we will be back!

Very clean hotel with decent sized clean rooms. Decent size parking lot for the area. Convenient location. Soft bed. Good water pressure (though hot water ran out in my room multiple times while showering). WiFi speed is mediocre at best. AC unit is thermostat controlled and is blocked from getting cold enough for my comfort. Decent location. Grocery store and fast food nearby. Overall a decent place to stay.
