Rock Ledge Motel

Awesome 3 night stay in the Guest House. Everything you need is at your fingertips. Chelsea cleans the rooms and is an amazing young lady, eager to make sure you are comfortable. Owner is around and such a great guy. Beds were amazing. Slept great- definitely would stay again

Just finishing a lovely stay at The Rock Ledge. It’s a little dated so if you’re looking for new and shiny you’ll be disappointed. What is is however is clean, well cared for, family owned and run with clear pride . Bucolic setting just blocks from down town Alexandria Bay and 15 minutes to Clayton. AC great, plenty of hot water and grounds that include a beautiful field with chairs and tables if you get tired and just want to relax outside. Could not be happier, will book again when back this way

We stayed here prior to our departure from our Kring Point home enroute to Florida. It allowed us to close our camp and relax prior to departure. Fred-the owner-took my reservation and was very friendly. The rooms were super clean and nice. Really enjoyed our stay and highly Recommend this as a place to stay. Very reasonable, convenient for our use, allowed great parking. It was a home run for us. Thanks Fred. We will be back!!

What a wonderful place to stay. We had an emergency and needed a room, when I called Mr. MacDonald, he told me not to worry he could accommodate us even late into the night. And he greeted us so warm and friendly. He is awesome! The room was so clean and the mattress was more comfortable than i have here at home. We have stayed many places in the 1000 Islands since 1985 and I really have to say this was one of or not the nicest. We will definitely stay her again. He really has a clean motel and daily housekeeping services!!! I have recommended this place to everyone I know!

I did not feel safe or comfortable in the cottage. I expected a dated, but quaint and clean cottage. The cottage was not clean (see photo of mattress stains). The floor was completely tilted to a dangerous degree (so much so that I stumbled at night and nearly fell into the sink). The pictures of the bathroom advertised do not match what you will get in at least one cottage. The space was extremely tight, and I am not even sure how/where the water drained from the shower given the severe angle of floor away from the drain (I think the water went behind seam in the shower wall). See water in the toilet bowl (not level due to floor tilting). The bed sunk in, and given the angel of the floors in room, you felt you were sliding off the bed all night.
