Pinehurst on the St. Lawrence

This place is more than accommodating. I'm staying in a "sleeper " cottage. I have full cable, river view, docking, boat ramp, full bathroom and the price is peanuts in this world. Peaceful place, nicest staff and chipmunks you can feed right out of your hand. Its a hidden gem in the MAGICAL thousand islands.

We loved it here! It was fun experiencing a true vintage river stay. Our cabin was clean and comfortable, nestled in amongst the pines. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and our granddaughter enjoyed the playground, even learning how to play horseshoes. We stayed during really hot summer days, so the large pool felt awesome and the fans in our cabin were appreciated, although it feels much cooler under all those pine trees. It was all in all a great experience and we can't wait until next year to try out another cabin in a different area of the grounds.

We have been coming here for several years during the summer. They have cabins, houses, to motel rooms available for rent. Very fair pricing and its just enough out of the hussle and bustle of Alexandria Bay. The dock area is absolutely wonderful to watch the beautiful sunsets and watching the huge ships go by. Would recommend this place to anyone. Even have my in-laws coming now! If there is ever an issue they get right on it and fix it. Cant say enough good things about this place.

Talk about a great experience…. Last minute decision to go to Alexandria Bay on poker run weekend when every hotel/motel right in town booked solid. So we tried looking just outside of town and we found this amazing place Pinehurst… talk about a score!! We met the owner Dave and heard a bit about the background of this unique setting. Love love love this place This was such a great choice with a rustic setting on the water . Old but very clean inside. If you’re looking for fancy dancy this will not work for you. We definitely would stay here again. Great people, great place and great time! Summer 2025

We have been staying here for 17 years. We live walking down to see the sunset each night. The cabins are rustic, but we love that we have no TV and the opportunity to eat outside. The pool is a great feature and you are in walking distance of go-carting and wine slushies. We love the relaxing, peaceful, and beautiful setting.
