i had a great time. the room was clean and nice little room for 2 adults. the staff was good very helpful help me alot they even call taxi and taxi guy gave me discount. fast foods were in waking Distance.

Rest Inn Elizabeth was a great budget find near Newark Airport! Rooms were clean, updated, and comfy (good bed, AC worked well, fridge/microwave handy for quick stays). Service was friendly—staff accommodating and helpful with check-in. Location perfect for airport access or nearby Jersey Gardens shopping—easy highways and quiet enough. Super value for the price—would definitely stay again for a short trip!

Having stayed in countless hotels and motels across the U.S. and abroad, including in developing countries, I can confidently say this is by far the worst place I’ve ever encountered. I usually rely heavily on Google reviews before booking, and despite seeing several alarming comments some even suggesting the health department should shut the place down I chose to ignore them and made a reservation anyway. Unfortunately, the reviews were accurate. The air conditioning barely works and is clogged with dust, forcing me to keep the door open for ventilation even though it’s freezing outside. I had to keep all my day time clothes and socks to keep me warm and promise myself that I’ll never ever ignore people’s reviews on Google Maps and than god I’m now at decent place with good price and will

I have called numerous times prior to check-in time to cancel my booking due to extenuating circumstances but no one ever answered I have had the company that I made the reservation through contact them and they are still non responsive. I have had an advocate here at the facility contact them and still no response. This hotel does shady business and makes their money off of cancelation. I would not recommend them and rhey look like they may have bugs and dirty walls.

The room was dirty the moment I walked in — floors not cleaned, sheets looked questionable, and there was an overall musty smell that made it hard to relax. There were no towels provided, and when I asked the front desk, they said they were “out.” Seriously? The TV didn’t work, and no one seemed interested in fixing it. The place felt extremely ratchet and unsafe, with people hanging around outside all night, loud music, and constant noise in the hallways. This place needs serious attention and better management.
