Residence Inn by Marriott Waldorf

Positive: Location Negative: Booked a one bedroom suite and they gave me a studio room. Told them that is not what I paid for. Would not give me my money back for the room I paid for. Would not book here again. Staff was rude when asking for towels. Mattress had a hole in it.

The check in experience was not ideal. I walked in and was quoted a room cost that seemed very high so I opened my app and booked a room online.|The person at the desk, LaShonda Gibson, then thanked me for my Marriott Platinum elite status and told me unfortunately she did not have that room, but she had a room of less quality available. I know the property, have stayed here many times before. I asked if the room that I had booked was available with a fireplace and she said yes and gave it. That is a minor upgrade, which I feel she should’ve offered automatically, instead of automatically downgrading me.|Marriott really diminishes its brand with associates like this.

I stayed here for a week during a work assignment, and my experience was very positive overall. The food was great, and the room genuinely felt like a small apartment. It was extremely convenient to my job site, which made the week much easier. I want to give a special thank you to Dennis, who worked the morning shift. He made my stay very comfortable and consistently went above and beyond. He helped make everything smooth for both me and my Regional Property Manager from check-in to check-out. His level of hospitality stood out in a meaningful way, and he truly represents the standard of service guests appreciate. Very happy with our stay. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds. Only odd things that I don't get is you have to pay for parking. ( If you book 3rd party you may be able may be able to save even more money) Check them out you won't be disappointed

The toilet Never flushed and the tub didn't drain. We called and they Never came! There was a speck of blood from someone before, which was Crazy! You also have to pay to park. Oh, and there was pesky Nats flying around! Please do better with cleaning and customer service!
