Hampton Inn Waldorf

I've stayed here on two different occassions. As far as Hamptons go, this one is top shelf. Helpful front desk and impeccably clean rooms. Slept well both nights. Bonus points for having a Carraba's across the parking field; a nearby Starbucks and Cracker Barrel. Crumbl Cookies too!

Positive: The cleaner was mice. She came sprayed the mildew cleaner in the tub. She also gave a refresher spray and towels to clean the room and the bathroom. Negative: The shuttle bus did not pick us up from the airport. After waiting for 45 mins. We ordered a Lift.

We stayed only for one night but our 3rd floor king room was comfortable and spacious and had a microwave, fridge and coffee center. The room was very quiet. We used the Hilton app to check in and out and used the digital key which was so easy. Emmanuel (Manny) was at the front desk professional and very friendly and responsive with questions and a welcome bag for us as hilton honors members. Breakfast was nice your typical Hampton inn fare and the area kept clean and well stocked. I would definitely stay here again passing through town. There is a nice Carrabas and a Cracker Barrel next door within a short walk.

My family recently held our repast here, because of a cancelation at the last minute, due to inclement weather at a community center. I was blessed to call this hotel and be assisted by Alexis. She moved with professionalism, urgency, and compassion. She got us booked immediately and even had back up options if we were not completely satisfied with the space. I also want to mention the staff who provided excellent customer service and kindness. They were God-Sent for a grieving family! I speak on behalf of my entire family, we truly appreciate all of you!. P.S. we didn't stay in the rooms. We just used the event space.

I came to this hotel as a late check in. The gentleman at the front desk was incredibly rude and requested that I pay a pet fee for my service dog. He insisted on me showing him paperwork that it is indeed a service dog. I showed him documentation and he was still rude insisting on the pet fee. That is illegal and I will file a complaint based on ADA standards. I tried to explain that he is legally not allowed to charge me and ask for paperwork. He insisted I need to speak to the manager in the morning. I finally made it to my room, laid down and the fire alarm went off. Went outside and waited in the cold for a good 15 minutes and then proceeded though the hotel hall with the alarm screaming to the lobby. What a night and a bad experience.
