Hilton Garden Inn Waldorf

Positive: The hotel is so close to everything. Bed is super comfortable, and the front desk staff on all shifts was very friendly and helpful! Negative: PARKING IS NOT FREE!! Breakfast is not free, and while the room is comfy, it needs an update.

I arrived a bit early and wasn't greeted politely, rather passive aggressively told that check-in was scheduled for later in the day. Which of course I was aware of, I was merely checking to see if the room was prepared early - which has most often been my experience at other hotels.||The television device would not work unless one placed the remote control right next to the device. The clerk at the front desk came to help, but told me that there was essentially nothing they could do because the engineer wasn't on site. Which rendered the television essentially useless.||The room was not modern, so the in-room controls from the app did not function.||The restroom had an odd and extremely unpleasant odor. The shampoo and conditioner was also nearly depleted - I barely had enough for two sho

i have stayed at Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton Inn many times, as I travel to Maryland every two months and often stay here. Tomikia is always incredibly helpful, kind, genuine, and very patient. Many of the younger staff are polite, but they don’t always enjoy answering a lot of questions. Tomikia is different—she always takes the time to explain everything clearly and in detail whenever we ask. very professional! I truly appreciate her excellent service and positive attitude. I love her so much, and I will definitely be back.

The rooms are outdated, beat up, dark and dingy. The bathroom is small, old, cracked tile and overall outdated. Pillows must be original from when the hotel opened. You have to pay $10 a day to park outside via an app. The only good thing was the friendly check in staff and the breakfast staff. This hotel sorely needs a full remodel. Avoid until then.

My day was fine. The staff was good to me, but they charged you for parking find somewhere that doesn’t. You’re not exclusive parking near the national mall or downtown manhattan , it’s Waldorf calm on down with the profiteering .
