Residence Inn by Marriott Springfield

Excellent hotel. Clean and hospitable. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean and comfortable. Great for multiple day trips. Room was spacious with 2 bathrooms and a separate bedroom. Not all rooms are set up that way, but ive stayed Plenty of times in other rooms and they are still quite spacious.

Stayed for 3 nights. This hotel is definitely in need of an upgrade. The furniture was pretty dinged up. The hallways really show the hotel has seen better days. I give one star for the breakfast. They have a very good breakfast. The front desk staff were very nice. The room was spacious. But the cooking pans still had food dried on the inside from previous guests. The had been pretty filthy. The Pyrex salad bowls were also dirty. There was one small trash bin for the room and no trash bags were provided. Fortunately, I had brought some in my travel kit. The shower was narrow. I am only 5'7" and on the skinny side and I was constantly banging my elbow against the shower walls. The TV in the room quit working on my 3rd night. One good thing was no bedbugs. I won't even consider ever staying

Positive: Extra room and a nice breakfast are strengths. Negative: The hotel is very spread out. The lights had a delay of a second or two when you turned on the switch. Not sure if it is just the type of light bulbs used or faulty wiring.

A friendly staff greeted us as we entered the combination lobby/breakfast dining area. This area would provide a perfect setting for our breakfast the next morning. Our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit was spacious while a fireplace gave us the feeling of warmth. The kitchen was well supplied and comfortable beds made for a pleasant night’s sleep. Breakfast offered an array of options including eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, breads and pastries, cereals, fruit, and yogurt. Everything we sampled was delicious. The price was reasonable so this will be our go to hotel when in the area.

Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. Perfect size rooms for our family- we didn’t feel on top of each other. The kitchenette was super nice to have. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Springfield.
