Drury Inn & Suites Springfield

It’s been a few years since we have been to the area but I remembered it being a good place to stay so when we were planning to return for a weekend stay I looked no where else for accommodations. And again, we were not disappointed. In fact, we were super impressed. It’s been remodeled and updated, but it was the staff that made this stay even better. I’m not sure her name, but she was there when we checked in and through the evening and my husband asked if they had an hdmi cable so we could watch a show from his phone on the tv. She told him she would look around and let us know. Some time went by and I thought they just forgot. But then a knock at the door and she had a brand new in box cable that she went out and bought. I would highly recommend Drury Inn. First they have free dinner and 3 free drinks. Plus morning breakfast free. It was good food as well. Reyna Cobb who works here was so nice and hospitable. We sat down and was eating our dinner when she came over to see how we were and if everything was good. I haven’t seen such hospitality in a long time. We spoke with her for quite a bit and she was so friendly. Keep up the great work!

Positive: Everything is always wonderful at this property Negative: The pool was closed, which was beyond the Hotels control. Some idiot broke a glass which affected the water in the pool in their defense. They worked quickly to resolve the issue. I cannot put this problem on the hotel was beyond their control.

The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to provide us with two connected rooms at a fantastic rate. The rooms were spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable. To top it off, they offered complimentary food and drinks. The hotel was well-secured, with the front doors locking at night. The only minor complaint we had was the presence of a few homeless individuals in the parking lot.

Nice hotel amenities, the free hot breakfast and dinner is a great perk. Hot showers. but If you like plush beds & a smoke-free hotel then this is not for you. The beds were awful, felt every spring and woke up with an aching back and sore shoulder and the halls smelled like Marijuana at night. The smell was even creeping into our room ...Called down to the front desk and their solution was to spray some fragrance to mask the smell instead of finding out who it was and kick them out. I booked a smoke-free hotel for a reason. Don't plan on coming back to the area anytime soon but if I do I probably wouldn't choose this hotel again.
