Rockwood Motor Court

This place is so cute and nostalgic. The owner was so nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean, stocked with all the necessities, plus snacks and d bottle water in mini fridge. The room was decorated with Route 66 books, pictures, clock and curtains. It was perfect for two people. There was a coffee pot, microwave, mini fridge, TV with lots of channels. We will definitely stay again.

As an avid route 66 traveler and author, I’ve been wanting to stay here for a while and I finally made a special trip to do so, and to visit some other friends along the Mother Road. Rockwood motor court is definitely a step back into nostalgia and it’s a delightful charming experience staying here. The rooms are clean and the grounds are very nicely curated with vintage touches everywhere. It’s a place you can feel at home and comfortable. Phyllis, the owner is absolutely delightful and I’ve enjoyed talking to her and getting to know her. This is exactly the experience that you don’t get at the chains.

This is a ok place. Cute decorations. Not any place to put your personal items etc. it’s extremely cramped but that’s when people were small. The small rooms are best with just one person, toilets a challenge, tiny and short. This is not for any elderly or large or handicapped people. Again cute! Beds are more firm, bring your pillow. It has 2 flat ones. Floor is the cleanest floor I’ve seen in any motel/ hotel! Congrats on that. | Parking is best for compact cars. Nice outside tables at night time to sit at with plenty of lighting. Sometimes the people seemed friendly, not so friendly after some man came by?? Oh well, never saw them ( owners again ) no thank you, happy trails, or come again! There is a box by office to drop key in and poof your gone!| Down the street more

Such a quaint and beautiful property. Phyllis and Tim were so welcoming and made sure our stay was comfortable. We stayed in the Historic Route 66 room with a comfy queen bed and a sitting area. It had everything we need. Phyllis personally took me to our room and told me a bit about it. I asked where we should eat dinner and she recommended the College Street Cafe which we went to. Rockwood was very quiet and relaxing. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I live in town and when my mom, Jennifer, came to visit she stayed here and had an amazing time! Phyllis was very kind and accommodating to her throughout her entire trip! The room was comfortable and clean, and its design was just adorable! (She stayed in the Casablanca room) When my mom arrived and saw the cobblestone walkway to her room, she expressed concerns to Phyllis due to her mobility issues and Phyllis gave her a cane to use for her entire stay! Not only did my mom LOVE her stay here, I also appreciate how much care/kindness was shown to her! She’s already talking about staying again the next time the visits! Thank you again ♥️
